About the Journal

The Journal is devoted to promoting the rapid dissemination of original research papers in the relevant disciplines of particular importance. Southern Journal of Arts & Humanities is firmly established as the leading source of primary communication for scientists in the disciplines of English & Urdu Languages, Law, and Islamic Studies. SJAH will be a peer-reviewed International Journal that will be bi-annually published by the University of Southern Punjab (USP), Multan (Pakistan). SJAH will be purely an academic Journal and will cover both applied and theoretical issues of Arts & Humanities. Likely subscribers will be the Universities, Research Institutions, and individual researchers.

Aims of SJAH

The aim of the Southern Journal of Arts & Humanities (SJAH) is to become a noticeable source of scholarly articles and research papers through the promotion of research publication. It aims to provide an opportunity for researchers and scholars to publish their original quality research. The published article will always be open access at the global level.

Objectives of SJAH

  2. To make research papers and scholarly articles available free of cost to all researchers.
  3. To create avenues for the promotion of research across the world.
  4. To make research publications hassle-free to ensure sharing of knowledge in due time.

Scope of SJAH

Scope of SJAH includes the Subject areas but by no means limited to English Literature, Linguistics, Languages, Islamic Studies, Religious Studies, Theology, Islamic Thoughts, Comparative Studies in Religion, Law & Legislature. Fine Art and Fashion Design, Art History.

Peer Review Policy

All papers published in, SJAH are peer-reviewed and copyedited. Initial screening for the suitability of the paper for publication will be carried out by the Advisory Editorial Board and subsequently, the manuscript will be sent to the reviewers for blind reviewing. Each paper will be reviewed by two relevant eminent professionals. A time frame will be given to the reviewers. As a result of the technical review process, a paper may be accepted without change, recommended for modification, and further reviewed or rejected. Reviewer comments will be communicated to the corresponding Author and will be required to address the comments in their true sense and spirit within the stipulated time period. The publication is contingent upon a response by the author to the reviewer’s comments and queries.

Double-blind Peer Review Process

This journal uses double-blind review, which means that both the reviewer and author identities are concealed from the reviewers, and vice versa, throughout the review process. To facilitate this, authors need to ensure that their manuscripts are prepared in a way that does not give away their identity. To help with this preparation please submit the Title Page containing the Author details and Blinded Manuscript with no author details as 2 separate files.
