Muhammad Hamidullah was one of the most distinguished Muslim scholars of the twentieth century, whose contributions to Islamic studies, history, and biography have gained international recognition. This study examines Dr. Muhammad Hamidullah as a biographer and explores his methodology, sources, and scholarly approach to biographical writing. The paper highlights his efforts in presenting the lives of prominent Islamic personalities, particularly the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH), through authentic historical sources and critical analysis. It also discusses the distinctive features of his biographical works, including objectivity, reliance on primary sources, and integration of historical and analytical methods.
